For over 28 years, Kathy managed a multi-million dollar privately owned, full-service staffing firm servicing businesses of all sizes within Central and Northern New Jersey and the Hudson Valley, NY. As President and Chief Operations Officer, she steered the company through multiple recessions, acquisitions and branch relocations.
Throughout her career in staffing, she worked closely with clients who needed assistance in the area of Human Resources. They often looked to her as a resource for advice on employment issues, policies, procedures and basic Human Resource issues. Seeing this as an ongoing need Kathy became certified as SHRM-CP by the Society for Human Resource Management and formed K. Warren Consulting Services. In this role, she provides a range of HR consulting services to clients and acts as their HR Manager as needed.
Kathy joined The Alternative Board as a board member in 2011. For the next four years she experienced first-hand how the TAB Peer Board process has enabled members to succeed professionally, financially and successfully steer their companies through rough economic times. As part of her professional succession plan, in 2015 Kathy decided that becoming a Contract Facilitator for The Alternative Board would be a natural extension of her consulting and coaching career path. She became certified as a TAB Facilitator in 2015 and joined TAB-CNJ as a Director. Kathy obtained her TAB Professional Coaching certification through the Triadic Coaching Training Program in 2020. Kathy believes that working with TAB board members to achieve their Personal and Company visions and helping them deal with business challenges is a rewarding experience and brings an incredible feeling of satisfaction.
Kathy has served as President and past-President of the New Jersey Staffing Association as well as Director on the Board of the Affiliated Staffing Group. She was a board member of the local Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years. She is currently the Secretary of the Central New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Human Resources (SHRM).
